Huge picture windows overlook the grounds and river. • Suite Dreams! Our spacious spa suite includes a king size bed, café table and chairs, and a fabulous view out over the grounds and river through large windows and French doors.    A romantic fireplace offers additional ambiance and provides extra heat at the touch of a switch.  The private ensuite bathroom has a double jacuzzi tub and a separate double size shower with a seat in it.  There is a mini bar fridge in the room, stocked with complimentary bottled water, juices and soft drink, leaving plenty of space for your own food or beverages.  There is also a 32" colour TV with DVD/VCR.  We receive hundreds of channels via satellite.          • Two Cozy Guestrooms: the Trillium Room and the Red Maple Room - each with a queen size bed; shared 4 piece bath and powder room            • enjoy your favourite movie or sport on our 52" big screen TV in the great room. We receive hundreds of channels via satellite, and have an extensive library of videos and DVDs   • awesome delicious breakfasts • central air conditioning • on-site amenities - exercise equipment, full range of local and road maps (including topographical), alarm clocks, night lights, games, books, magazines, video library, hair driers, internet access • plenty of parking room • guest refrigerator stocked for late night or early morning refreshments; or to keep your picnic lunch and beverages cold • have fun on the lazy Little Mississippi River with our canoe, paddleboat and on location - the "old swimming hole"     The McArthur Cottage:  Within easy walking distance of our Bed and Breakfast is a two-bedroom (with additional beds available) cottage that we rent on behalf of the owners.  It is clean, modern, and fully equipped with stove, fridge and microwave.  There is a 4-piece bathroom.  The cottage is heated with both electricity and a wood stove - your choice.  All dishes and kitchen linens are provided.  Breakfast is not included in the cost, unless arranged with us prior to your arrival.  If possible we ask you to bring bedding and towels.  If that is not an option for you, we can make arrangements.  If you do not wish to make your own meals in the cottage, there is a small, licensed country restaurant very close by, and a variety of restaurants in Bancroft, a 20 minute drive from here.  We do prefer to rent the cottage for a minimum of two nights.  Please call 613-332-2350 or email for rates.           To our friends who have homes or cottages nearby,  we would be pleased to be your "spare bedroom"!
